I want to be a tutor because I love kids and I love helping people learn. I have fieldwork experience and student teaching experience in a first grade classroom so I'm very familiar with the first grade curriculum and expectations. I also have fieldwork experience in an 8th grade math class, and 5th grade Language Arts/Social Studies class. Throughout my career at Stockton, I was able to maintain Dean's List status each semester. I have such a passion for kids, and watching that light bulb go off in their head when I am able to get through to them makes me feel whole and complete.

My favorite thing to do in my down time is read a good book - I always appreciate a good book and would love to transfer my passion for reading onto a child. My favorite part of student teaching was story time! I also love to spend time with my dog- I take her for walks or bring her to my mom's house for a nice run in their big back yard.
